Vineyard and Winery / Our Lifestyles

To us, wine in moderation is part of a healthy, balanced lifestyle, and enjoying a glass of wine is an important part of a meal. We call these our lifestyle wines because they are made to pair well with the diverse flavors in today's popular cuisines. Taken in sequence you have the wines for a four course meal; separately, you have wine to complement any food.

Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir block program

Estate Vineyard Single Block Pinot Noir Program

Expressing our sense of place ("terrior") shows best in our bottling of Pinot Noir from individual blocks within our estate vineyards. This started in 1998 when our new winemaker, Russ Rosner, noted the distinctiveness of the barrels from different blocks of our estate Pinot Noir. The wines we chose to bottle separately were from our oldest blocks of grapes planted between 1972 and 1975: Watershed Block, Old Vineyard Block and Twelve Row Block. Although separated by only 200 feet of elevation and less than one-half mile, the wine each have their own personality.

Our Single Block wines are bottled in very small quantities and only from vintages where the quality is truly exceptional.
